Chameleon is one of the southeast’s best party bands, catering to but not limited to such venues as corporate events, country clubs, weddings and casinos. The Nashville based group itself has been in existence since 1996. Chameleon has played for several major corporations including Lockheed Corp., Walgreens, Harrah’s Casino and Goody’s. They’ve also performed for Belle Meade Country Club, Hillwood Country Club and Richland Country Club in Music City to name just a few. Call on Chameleon and get the party started!

Vickie Carrico works not only as a solo artist, but also as a studio singer and vocalist for a number of different acts. She’s lent her background vocals to albums of a diverse group of artists, from ZZ Top and Don McLean to Dobie Gray and Patty Loveless name a few. Vickie has toured as a background vocalist for a number of artists, including Dottie West, Crystal Gayle and Brenda Lee to name a few. She is a small package with a huge soulful voice!

If you have seen her live, you know the powerhouse that is Sheila Lawrence. Sheila’s talent as a great singer and songwriter is evident, honing her craft as a lead singer, enjoying regional success throughout the South. Lawrence penned all of the songs on her latest album project “Down 1297”. She was also a member of the notable girls group “Kentucky Thunder”. In addition to being a lead singer with “Chameleon”, Sheila also backs up country great Brenda Lee.

Dana McVicker is a Nashville music artist with outstanding vocals. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dana recorded for Capitol Records Nashville in 1988, releasing a self-titled album charting four singles on the US Country Chart. She was nominated for Best New Country Female Artist at the ACM Awards. After exiting Capitol Records, Dana sand backup vocals for Travis Tritt and Sawyer Brown. She now lends her talents to Chameleon, shining on stage with her outstanding vocals.

Robert Green has been playing bass for what seems like all of his life. Robert spent several years on the road touring the US, Canada and worldwide. He backed up such artists as The Marvellettes, The Ink Spots, The Platters, The Coasters, Barry Gibb, Johnny Rodriguez, T.G. Sheppard, Ronnie McDowell, and countless others. Dan Justice literally grew up with a guitar in his hand. During his 40+ year professional career, Dan has accompanied many musicians and artists, including but not limited to Barry Gibb, Gene Watson, The Platters, Sam Moore, etc. Dan has toured all over the world, playing the Grand Ole Opry and in many prominent videos. Dan is the “guitar” of Chameleon!

The name Buddy Leach stands on its own when it comes to playing sax and flute. He has over 40 years experience as both a studio and touring musician. Vic has worked for 14 major artists touring over 5,000 shows. This includes The Amboy Dukes, The Ted Nugent Group, Crystal Gayle, The Dirt Band, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Reba McEntire. He has ben in 8 music videos aired on MTV, VH1 and CMT. He also has 7 platinum awards. His studio projects include playing with J.J. Cale, Leroy Parnell, John McEuen, Albert Lee and Al Kooper. He was nominated for ACM country drummer of the year, as well as band of the year with Tracy Lawrence. Botom line, Vic is an amazing drummer.

Kenny was a full time professional musician from 1978 through 2001, performing nationwide and in multiple countries overseas for 46-48 weeks a year. He spent 1981 through 1990 as a multi-keyboardist, trumpet and vocalist for the nationally recognized show band The Marvells. He was also the music director and arranger for six years. Later, Kenny had his own band Split Second performing nationally, spending four years in St Thomas Virgin Islands where he had a studio and was an engineer. Ken has backed numerous artists including The Platters, Chubby Checker, Del Shannon, Larry Gatlin and T.G. Sheppard to name a few.
